I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
That’s probably one of the last verses anyone wants to hear when they are going through a storm. How could Paul even say that what we face now is nothing compared to the glory that will be revealed in us? Did Paul have any idea how hard life in 2016 is? Did he have a clue about all the suffering of the 21st century?
Did he know?
Of course he did but….
He had a revelation-the kind that only comes from the very throne of God.
Think about it.
With all the persecution Paul faced, he confidently declared that whatever he was facing was nothing in fact it was so insignificant, it wasn’t worth comparing it to the glory that was coming.
Guess what? That’s exactly the same thing with our lives. Our problems today are NOTHING, they are so insignificant because…
- There’s a glory that comes from the trials.
- The glory is testament of having survived and passed the storm.
- The glory is testament of God’s faithfulness of having carried you through the storm.
Whatever you may face in 2016, remember there’s a glory that will be revealed at the end of that trial so go through the trial, live and grow through it but most importantly pray through the trial.
